🔔 Last Friday, Zepos & Yannopoulos published its 2023 Annual Report 📓. It includes my article on the trends surrounding the #lifesciences industry 💊. 🔊 “Digital health”, “#Healthcare Transformation”, “#AI”, “#ESG”, “Legislative Reform”: These were only a few of the headline issues we saw in 2023 in the life sciences industry, and they will surely continue to be invoked frequently during 2024 and the years to come. As the sector transitions through crucial legislative reform, while still under considerable financial pressure from various angles, incorporating innovative technologies and new business models into the existing modus operandi, and simultaneously adapting to new obligations and ESG requirements may be the biggest hurdle life sciences companies will face in 2024. Many stakeholders are trying to keep pace with an ever-changing environment, and determining which advancements to prioritise, and which to forego, can be a challenging task. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, as 2024 is likely when industry players will set their course for the coming years.” 📋 Read the full article in the annual report available at https://bit.ly/43Mi0mW ✨ Among others, you can read insights into #Greece’s business landscape, provided by representatives from key sectors of the Greek economy who share their thoughts on the opportunities and challenges, as well as the thoughts of fellow partners on the drivers and trends in their respective practices.

“The Edelman Trust #Barometer is a unique tool used globally to help us better understand the world we live in. This year's edition focuses on the position of #innovation in society; how accepted it is and how people perceive its regulation and management. The general perception is that science has become politicised and people fear that #governments have too much control over research and its results, so they end up distrusting and rejecting innovation. In this context, with a historic election year as a backdrop, in which Romania will have four elections, public-private partnerships are essential to increase understanding and acceptance of new #technologies and innovations. We are making this study available to the public in the hope that both the business and political communities will have a clearer understanding of the global context in which we live and operate, the trends and changes that are emerging, many of which are also valid for Romania" -Corina Vințan, CEO Links Associates - Edelman affiliate. #innovation #governments #trust #edelman Watch the 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer Global launch event in Davos: https://lnkd.in/d7-4gecr Read the full report: https://lnkd.in/dj9Cwjnd

"This seminal report is the first to quantify the economic impact in stark terms, and it makes the case for timely action to address it. It highlights the need for a fundamental mindset shift, while offering a new lens through which we can understand the risk of inaction. Many of the recommendations require bold, significant investments and shifts in cross-sector policy and approaches. No one business or organization will solve them alone." In response to our McKinsey Health Institute and World Economic Forum report detailing the health and economic returns of closing the women's health gap, the Forum, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and a global lineup of leading institutions have launched the Global Alliance for Women’s Health.
