It's been 8 months since I moved to Zinnov's NY office, and it's been a tremendous experience in this short period. So what worked well? Apart from the obvious benefits like access to customers, access to customer Exec teams, and of course working closely with Zinnov leadership, there have been a lot of other pleasant experiences: 1) New York - people try to explain this city, but fail. The city's energy is palpable, still a pulsating hub of power. 2) The talent here is hungry for learning and consistently pushes the envelope. 2 out of 8 winners of Zinnov's prestigious Zinnovator award (for employees) were from the NY Office. What could have been better? Career-wise - nothing can beat this experience. Hiccups are personal in nature: 1) Missing family and friends. 2) Not having a credit history in the US makes life difficult. 3) Navigating the complicated and expensive healthcare. 4) I miss my maid and nanny the most! :) But the benefits far outweigh the cons for me and my family. Zinnov is growing at a breakneck speed at delivering value for its customers, and I have a wonderful opportunity to grow with it. Cheers! #Zinnov #Globalization

Synthesia was just named the Fastest Growing Product in G2's Best Software Awards (incredible to see it live in Times Square). We're constantly delivering value to the Enterprise across various industries and teams - enabling them to enhance their content creation capabilities and improve communication. 🌟 Innovation at Its Core: The dedication to innovation, especially within our R&D and Product teams, is unlike anything I've witnessed. On Monday here in NYC, I experienced a Synthesia Avatar Shoot. It captures a live performance for video and voice cloning session for audio to use for my custom AI avatar creation. It was incredible - super excited to share the final product soon! 🤝 Colleagues of Aces: I'm surrounded by intelligent, hardworking, and down-to-earth individuals with diverse backgrounds. The camaraderie here is real, and it's empowering to be part of such an exciting company with an incredible culture. Conversations with GenZs!!! At our annual offsite in the last 2.5 days, I got to know our team a little better beyond work! Some of these members are as young as 1 week in the organisation and the reflections we had together were nothing short of profound! These conversations also nudged us at VMentor.ai to think about what culture we want to build for this young talent who entrusted us with their careers and a long journey ahead of them! As always, the metaphor in my reflection was: If I had a magic wand what would I do differently for this generation of professionals:🪄 ✈️ Build a safe culture for them to express, explore, experiment and enjoy themselves! ✈️ Expose them to key skills early on: Technology, comfort with data and Analytics, problem solving and above all being empathetic to the needs to customers and internal stakeholders ✈️ Display role model behaviours: they are learning fast and learning by observing each one of us! The mandate is to be conscious of who we are being in the organisation every single day! ✈️ have them Co create the future! They join us at a time when exponential growth is staring at us! Our commitment is to give them agency to create a future that they find meaningful and hear their unique voices! Onwards and upwards! 🎉 Celebrating 1 Year at Nemeon! 🎉 Time truly flies when you're enjoying every moment! It's almost unbelievable that a whole year has passed since I embarked on this amazing journey with the remarkable team at Nemeon. I still remember the blend of excitement and anticipation I felt on my very first day, as I took that pivotal step into a new phase of my career. Moving from the familiar surroundings of element61 to Nemeon represented a substantial change—a shift that not only presented fresh challenges but also abundant opportunities for personal and professional development. Reflecting on the past year, several key points stand out: 🚀 Transitioning from an operational role: Initially heavily client-focused, my role gradually shifted towards a more strategic focus. This shift allowed me to invest more time in activities like team training, refining best practices, exploring new technologies, and supporting my colleagues—a transition that wasn't without its challenges, but one that ultimately enabled personal and team growth. 🤝 Managing my own team: Managing a team isn't just about overseeing tasks; it's about nurturing talent, fostering growth, and navigating the dynamics of a diverse group. It's been a journey of continuous learning and adaptation, and I'm grateful for the amazing individuals I've had the privilege to work with. To Louise Coffyn, Kristof Neven, Agata Kukhtiy, and Walter Teixeira—thank you for being invaluable members of the team.
