I spent yesterday in Stockholm, at Svemin’s annual Autumn Summit. It was brilliant to catch up with so many industry peers, sharing insights on how we can make the mining industry more sustainable and support the green transition. It was a pleasure to speak about our vision for the mining industry, focusing on how sustainable innovation can enable net zero, circular and regenerative mines of the future.     One of the key topics of conversation was the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act and how it’s impacting us here in Sweden specifically. As the EU’s largest mining nation, Sweden plays a critical role in the green transition, so it’s great to share learning and experiences on industry strategies, research and development.  #Mining #Sustainability #GreenTransition

Stanford University recently released a lifecycle analysis study on Redwood Materials' Northern Nevada campus, where it has created a closed-loop, domestic supply chain for EV batteries by recycling and refining lithium-ion batteries. According to Stanford’s research, Redwood’s innovative approach utilizes: - 80% less energy - cuts CO2 emissions by 70% - reduces water use by 80% compared to traditional mining.
