Lexus revealed two electric vehicle (EV) concept cars at the Tokyo Mobility Show, signaling its electrified future. The LF-ZC, set for production in 2026, boasts unconventional features like using the steering wheel for gaming. “Customers will be able to engage in e-sports using Steer-by-Wire technology inside the vehicle, for example, then implement their preferred settings through OTA to allow them to experience it in the real world.” It means you’d be able to tune the steering and brakes using, say, Gran Turismo or Forza, and apply those settings into the real world. However, Lexus didn’t explain exactly how it would work. However, it seems more like a showcase for ideas than a production-ready car. Lexus aims to become fully electric by 2035, with the LF-ZC playing a significant role.
