Reading Frank Herbert's "Dune" during my vacation as leisure reading made me reflect on how the scarcity of resources shapes our world. In Dune, water is so scarce that people wear special suits to reclaim and reuse their sweat. It got me thinking about another precious resource in our world: our employees. Just as the people of Dune manage their water with utmost care, we must manage our workforce with the same level of attention and respect. Ensuring their well-being, professional growth, and satisfaction is key to a thriving organization. Want to learn more about how to continuously improve your employees and your way of working? Let’s connect and discuss!

The Human Design Initiative in the Workplace While we engage in the conversation of uplifting employee relations through leadership agendas, let’s also be concerned with the understanding of assisting employee engagement via individual energy level according to individual type. In Human Design there are only 5 Types that match up with all human beings in the world. These 5 Types have various energy capacities that, when identified can bring balance to work-team cultures in the variable workplaces throughout the world. The 5 energy types that each of us needs to be aware of are Manifestors (9%), Generators, (37%), Manifesting Generators (33%), Projectors (9%), and the Reflectors (1%) of the world population and they all have their variable functional energy that can be usefully measured in their engagement of team culture. I’ll give a short explanation of each type to create more understanding: Manifestors – are here to initiate people into the frequency of their transformation and creativity through direct access to the Quantum Pulse. Generators – Try to physically manifest creativity and express through their devotion to their tasks. Manifesting Generators – are here to physically manifest creativity and speed up the quantum process and linear time. (Generators are hybrids of each other, one of them has the power of the sacral chakra), (I refer to these guys as the energizer bunny because they never stop working). Personally I’m a Manifesting Generator, I’m proud to say! Projectors – They try to hold the energy template of what’s to come and clear the vibration of the collective consciousness. I collect presidents into my software and I found that Barack Obama is a (Projector), did he not try to clear our collective consciousness by stating, (“This is not going to be Black America or White America but the United States of America”). Reflectors – Reflectors are to mirror others in the Human condition and get us to view our Human potential. (I won’t talk anymore about this unique 1percentor; I’ll leave this for you to do your research because I cannot put it all on this paper.) These terms are used as the original descriptions to our sources of energy but now we call them Quantum. Introducing a human design initiative to a corporate environment with the aim of enhancing awareness of individual employee energy levels and how they impact team dynamics can be a multifaceted process. Here's a structured approach to implement such an initiative: By following some of these steps, you can introduce a human initiative to your corporate environment effectively and enhance awareness of individual employee energy levels as they relate to team dynamics. Can we find a balance between the natural process of wildfire and keeping our communities safe? Absolutely… but it starts with understanding the true risks. 90% of buildings lost during wildfires are due to wind-borne embers, yet less than 1% of community wildfire protection plans (CWPPs) take embers into account. Frontline’s approach is straightforward. Reduce structure loss while allowing natural fires to burn safely. To address the true threat from embers, we focus protection on the structure, and work concentrically outwards. This includes home hardening together with Frontline’s water-smart exterior sprinkler system, and vegetation management within 30 feet of any building. We can protect communities without damaging our natural world. Please check out our recently released brand anthem :) We are happy to connect and collaborate with any and all of the hard working, dedicated wildfire and natural resource professionals! At Frontline, every breakthrough and every innovation begins with a belief: that harmony between humanity and nature is achievable, even in the face of wildfires. The understanding that fire plays a crucial role in the health and diversity of our planet has shaped our company and our products. By rejecting outdated methods of wildfire suppression, we're pioneering solutions that align with nature's processes. This journey is not just about defending what we've built; it's about creating a sustainable way to live in the places we love, powered by the spirit of innovation. We are thrilled to share our new video, which helps to bring our vision to life. We believe it is possible to live where you love. Learn more at www.frontlinewildfire.com

Chief Innovation Officer and Digital Transformation Leader / Co-Author of Best-Seller, The Gen Z Effect
When your work involves digging in to see what the current state of processes in an organization or system, you will find some head scratchers. Some offices have Dilbert clippings. Some have demotivational posters. I learned from a turnaround CIO that those are serious warning signs. So what do they signify? The image nelow from Ralph Aboujaoude Diaz, who (comedically) subtitled it: "My job is to deploy automation, not redesign processes." Nathaniel Palmer and I had the pleasure of ultimately rolling up to Jim Champy (good friend and advisor to Thomas Koulopoulos, CEO of Delphi Group) within Perot Systems, in an incredible office we all shared overlooking the South End of Boston. Jim is famous for many things, including his truly great work with Michael Hammer on the book "Reengineering the Corporation." There's a lot of talk in reengineering (or broadly "process" of any kind), about whether you should just automate a mostly manual process, currently glued together between people and disparate systems, and methodically proceed until you've automated those processes. OR As Jim and Michael might say... Blow it up and start fresh. If you don't step back and critically evaluate where value is generated, and whether existing processes and rules currently make sense, you're going to end up with a ton of metaphorical buried rocks surrounded by workarounds. And that is definitively NOT the path to unleashing a Digital Transformation. Have you gone rock hunting in your organization recently? Or better yet, jury-rigged process hunting?

We have an awesome upcoming webinar with Team WasserRetention tomorrow February 7 at 9am PST. Leandra, Gerhard, Hannah, and Julian all met through our core course, and have since teamed up to bring Water Cycle Restoration to central Europe. They've already done some amazing projects, and have so much more in the works. This is a great webinar for learning about how to find allies and teammates to start collective efforts. It is SO HARD to do this kind of work as a one person team. Team WasserRetention provides a great example of how easy and natural it can be to start working together, eventually forming a business that is greater than the sum of it's parts. If you're interested in Water Cycle Restoration in Europe, or want to engage in water cycle restoration as a career but starting a business all on your own feels too daunting, then this is the webinar for you! https://lnkd.in/e3StfHbk
