Disrupting Reference Checking

Did you know that 81% of job applicants lied at least once during a job interview? And that the probability of distinguishing a lie from truth is about 50%. Basically we are just as good as a coin flip. In reference checking it is likely that the referee is also willing to lie to present the candidate in the best possible way.
