It’s also your right to receive a timely response from the nursing home team when your council makes a request or suggestion. Sometimes nursing home teams may require more time to respond to resident requests. If this is an issue in your community, consider using a simple ACTION FORM 📝. Applications for State Nursing Home Policy Academy are DUE TODAY! 🌟 The NASHP | National Academy for State Health Policy launched a State Nursing Home Policy Academy, which will provide technical assistance to three teams of state leaders to take on nursing home quality, payment and engagement with residents, families, and the federal government. "Through peer-to-peer learning and access to nursing home policy expertise, states can accelerate measurable progress on policies that will address the complex and multi-faceted challenges facing nursing homes across the country."
