With great pride, ADPA - Automotive Data Publishers Association and Automechanika Frankfurt have announced a new partnership to jointly strengthen further the #independent #automotive #aftermarket in Europe. Automechanika Frankfurt is one of the most important trade shows worldwide for the automotive aftermarket. As an international meeting place for the #industry, #dealership trade and #maintenance and #repair segment, it provides a major platform for #business and technological #knowledge transfer. It covers the full scale of products and services, from accessories and customising to tires and wheels, including #diagnostics and repair and many others. Building upon its international attendance, it is the flagship event for other Automechanika tradeshows worldwide. ADPA and Automechanika have agreed to promote each other towards their respective networks, in an effort to bringing together all relevant stakeholders of the independent aftermarket. This cooperation will be particularly strong during the Automechanika Frankfurt exhibition, scheduled from the 10th to the 14th of September 2024. Patrick Lo Pinto, ADPA Board Member in charge of Communications, said: "We are very proud to become a partner of Automechanika, one of the leading trade shows for the automotive aftermarket worldwide. Here are the key insights and observations from his experience: 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀: Walker noted significant differences between German and U.S. approaches, both in business and daily life. These observations are crucial as 4.0 Solutions considers its global strategy. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: The vastness of Hannover Messe posed unique challenges. OPC Foundation: The foundation's booth failed to impress, lacking engaging and functional demos. 3. AI and Automation: Innovations by companies like Tulip Interfaces and AWS showcased the potential and real-world applications of AI in manufacturing. 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿-𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁: Walker consistently observed a gap between what vendors offer and the actual needs of manufacturers, particularly concerning cost and application relevance. 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 1. AI and IoT Advances: The prowess of platforms like Google Cloud’s Cortex and Litmus's AI highlighted the evolving capabilities in AI analytics tailored for manufacturing. 2. Edge Computing Innovations: Technologies such as IFM’s Bluetooth mesh are transforming the way traditional sensors integrate into smart systems. Since joining Messe Stuttgart in 2007, I've had the privilege of helping to shape VISION. What I particularly enjoy is organising this leading event on our exhibition grounds with an innovative, highly international, and at the same time very connected industry. 🟡 What hobbies help you to relax after a long day at work? Physical activity is my way of recharging. Over the last few years, I have regularly ridden my e-bike to the trade fair for two hours a day. This year, I set myself a new challenge and started running regularly again. Currently, I'm training for a marathon after a few years' break. This marathon will take place right after this year's VISION on Sunday. 🟡 What are your expectations for VISION 2024? The outlook for VISION 2024 is excellent: We already have 15 percent more exhibiting companies and occupied space, 66 percent of them coming from abroad, and a quarter of the companies are first-time exhibitors. #Automechanika Frankfurt 2024! Automechanika 2024 was an incredible experience filled with innovation, networking, and learning🌍. For example, a Latin American influencer illustrated how digitalization, through AI-generated content, is making communication more efficient, a concept that can be adapted for other regions in other languages as well. When asked to describe my work at the bilstein group in only one word, I thought of "Ambition" 🚀 because of my current study specialized in digital transformation and the continuous development projects in our organization. Among other important qualities, the ability to guide and adapt to changes in business is especially significant.
