January is National CBD Month! Cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive molecule derived from cannabis, has been known to help with pain, anxiety and depression. Its first documented use was all the way back in 2737 BC by Chinese Emperor Sheng Nung. Then it took until 1940 for it to be isolated from marijuana. By 1963, its molecular structure was reported and now its potential health benefits have recently helped to broaden the reach of the cannabis industry.
