Did you know that less than 1% of philanthropic funding in the U.S. in the last five years went to organizations supporting military personnel and families? Boldly Go recently completed a landscape analysis focused on understanding the needs of military personnel as they transition to civilian life. Our research suggests that a holistic approach to supporting well-being is needed to help veterans and their families thrive and live fulfilling civilian lives. SOF Health Initiatives: We tackled 85 cases, positively impacting the lives of 213 warfighters and family members. SOF Health Education: Knowledge is power! Our initiatives reached a total of 970 individuals, empowering them with vital health education. Immediate Needs Cases: Addressing urgent requirements, we successfully supported 125 cases, aiding 322 warfighters and their families. Rehabilitative Adaptive Events: Dagger Dive: Brought joy and rehabilitation to 123 participants. On medical discharge from the Armed Forces, many personnel can feel that this is the end of the road for them.
