Silver Range Resources Corp. (@silverrangeresources) has announced encouraging results from recent exploration programs at its Cambridge and Sniper properties in Nevada. At the Cambridge Property, investigations revealed partially backfilled stopes, indicating potential for underground mine rehabilitation. Notably, a subordinate footwall vein splay yielded grab samples assaying up to 52.1 g/t Au. At the Sniper Property, a diamond drill hole returned 2.30 meters at 2.10 g/t Au and 55.3 g/t Ag, with mineralization remaining open at depth. Initial sampling at Sniper showed high gold and silver grades, with peak values of 121 g/t Au and 1,375 g/t Ag. The property hosts ribbon-banded quartz veins within a Jurassic intrusion carapace, previously explored through small adits and shafts. Onyx Gold's Golden Mile project, located in the prolific Timmins gold camp of northeast Ontario, is a 94 sq km property just 9 km from Newmont-Goldcorp’s Hoyle Pond deposit. The Timmins Gold Camp, Canada’s largest gold-producing region, has yielded over 100 million ounces in the last century, with ongoing production and exploration. Onyx Gold’s strategy is to consolidate prime geological real estate previously hindered by fragmented ownership, including Munro-Croesus, Timmins South, and Golden Mile. This approach has already led to new discoveries on the Munro-Croesus property. Bordered by deposits like Hoyle Pond (4.0 Moz) and Bradshaw (+1 Moz), Golden Mile features faulted ultramafic and mafic volcanic rocks and Porcupine sediments, mirroring other rich Timmins Camp deposits. Exploration has uncovered significant gold, arsenic, and Lead-Silver-Nickel anomalies. Drilling programs in 2014 and 2020 extended the Pipestone Fault's strike length from 600 meters to over 2000 meters. While diligently working to acquire Bell Mountain, a fully permitted #gold and #silver project in #Nevada, we want to spotlight our larger Pine Grove gold project. Though not fully permitted yet, Pine Grove is in the final stages of permitting and we believe it holds untapped potential that we are eager to uncover soon. The Pine Grove district is mainly made up of a type of rock called Jurassic granodiorite, which has some interesting variations and alterations. The granodiorite rocks have intrusions (dikes and sills) of different compositions like andesite, dacite, and rhyolite. These are believed to be the sources of gold mineralization in the area. Native gold is found in small quartz veinlets, stockworks, and disseminations within the granodiorite. Where unoxidized, these veinlets contain minerals like pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, and native gold, along with elevated copper levels. The gold found here is typical of the "Shear Zone" subtype of Plutonic-Related Gold Quartz Veins and Veinlets. Pine Grove's PEA (2011, updated 2015) reports that significant exploration potential exists beyond current resources and recommends that infill and offset drilling be performed around the Wilson deposit, deep drilling in the Wheeler deposit, and expansion exploration drilling in known outlying anomalous intercepts. As funding becomes available, additional exploration drilling programs will be developed to potentially increase the size of the resource base. These programs will test numerous prospective areas of the Pine Grove property. An updated NI 43-101 technical report and an updated Pre-Feasibility report is also planned.
