When did you last laugh with your team? We all like the idea of a happy team, laughing and joking while also getting tons of great work done. But it’s hard right? Sometimes we’re busy. Stressed out, racing from call to call like a task switching monster. Having a happy team is really important to me. I want them to be working and pushing hard. But I want them to be happy too. Laughing is a good sign of happiness. So is being around people that you like and trust. That’s why getting to know my team is so important to me. It’s why we take time in our team calls to ask questions that help us get to know each other. This week’s question: If you be any other person (dead or alive) for 24 hours who would you be and why. We had some great answers. I particularly liked that Brani would be the world’s richest person. During her day she’d transfer half of their money to herself so she could then do good with it the next day when she was back to her life! It’s not just me that wants to help people get to know their team. When I was in Lisbon a few weeks ago I met a guy called Edric. Edric really believes in this too. He believes in it so much he’s created his company to help other business owners get to know their team. It’s called Warm Spaces and it helps you to create more engaging team meetings through conversation prompts and guided questions. It’s super effective and really easy to get started.. I loved the idea and I thought you might like it too. You can try it out and contact Edric direct over at warmspace.io
Creating a happy and cohesive team culture is truly the key to effective leadership. Thank you for sharing these insightful and inspiring reflections, Noel! 🙌
