Women are the spine of healthcare, Women constitute the majority of healthcare workers globally, serving in various roles from clinical practice to administration and research, demonstrating their pivotal contribution to the healthcare sector. Their dedication and compassion often form the bedrock of patient care, as they bring a unique perspective and nurturing approach to their roles. Beyond frontline care, women also play significant roles in healthcare leadership, driving policy decisions, innovation, and advocating for improved healthcare access and quality. Today we celebrate Women all over the world, Woman, you are worth it all.

Saunders, Sherrie Barch, and Stephanie Mercado CAE CPHQ joined our Confab for Advancing Women Leaders yesterday to lead a discussion based on their new book, Unstoppable: Inspiring Stories of Perseverance, Triumph and Joy from Trailblazing Women in Healthcare. As women executives shared intimate stories of their lives, two themes emerged: resilience and the unity between personal and professional lives. Thanks to the incredible women of Confab for joining this discussion, supporting each other, and advancing women in health care leadership. Highlights from the JWI Conference 🌟 As a proud member of Jewish Women International (JWI)'s Board of Trustees, and their Young Women's Impact Network representative, I am thrilled to reflect on the resounding success of our annual conference in DC last week, which, for the first time in the conference's history brought together women of all ages under one roof this year. Thank you Meredith Jacobs and Rachel Levin for your leadership to make the weekend a success! ✨ Unity Across Generations: The conference served as a powerful platform where women across ages converged, fostering a spirit of unity, collaboration, and shared empowerment. It was a testament to the strength found in collective experiences, especially during a time when so much is virtual. 🌐 Elevating Voices, Driving Change: Throughout the day, powerful discussions unfolded, highlighting shared commitment to advocacy, change, leadership, and more. Attendees explored diverse perspectives on critical issues, emphasizing the impactful role women play in driving positive transformation. 💼 Navigating Career Journeys: Insights into career navigation, self-advocacy, and the pursuit of purpose resonated across the conference. Women from various professional backgrounds and levels exchanged stories, fostering an environment of mentorship and mutual support. 🌺 Fostering Holistic Well-Being: From discussions on economic empowerment to wellness and health, the conference embraced a holistic approach to empowerment. Speakers shared valuable insights on achieving balance, purpose, and well-being in both personal and professional spheres. 🌍 Building Lasting Connections: Beyond the enriching discussions, the conference provided, as it always does, a unique space for organic networking and connection-building. A 2021 WomenLift Health report found that 42% of North American women classified “lack of confidence” as a top barrier to advancing into leadership positions.
