#ICYMI: Earlier this month, we conducted the ‘MUHS Women Leadership Conclave’ at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences to equip 30 women health science and medical professors with key skills in authentic and inclusive leadership to navigate persistent workplace challenges facing them. Participants were also joined by Lt Gen. Dr Madhuri Kanitkar (Retired), Vice Chancellor, MUHS & WomenLift Health India Mentor, for a Q&A session exploring institutional-level changes that have transformed the functioning of the university over the last two years. The discussions explored key principles that have contributed to this transformation, including: 👉Applying a gender lens to decision-making; 👉 Emphasizing transparency, empowerment, and accountability; 👉 Adopting an ecosystem-mindset to develop the entire health system. #ReimaginingLeadership #WomensLeadershipMatters

📍Bangalore, India Today, we wrapped up the Second Residency of our Women Leadership in STEM (WLS) programme, in collaboration with Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Grand Challenges India, and the Department of Biotechnology. Yesterday, the 20 women STEM leaders in the WLS cohort visited the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) series of conversations exploring women’s access to entrepreneurship and research opportunities in India and how leadership development and mentorship support can help provide the necessary support in this process.
