We are founded on four core values that are deeply rooted in our culture 👇
Thoroughness. Openness. Honesty. Work-Life Balance.
We are on an ambitious journey, and we believe that an engaging and collaborative environment is the best platform for achieving our goals and making a positive change. 💚
“At Nordic Solar, we're not only ambitious about hitting our growth targets. We aspire to be sustainable in everything we do, especially in building and leading our teams. As an organisation, we are rooted in strong values, and our success is driven by the dedicated commitment of our employees.” says Tina Mose, Chief People Officer at Nordic Solar
Take a look at the short video below and hear how some of these values are embodied in reality.
But the thing that attracted me the most were the company values. I really need to fit in a company where I see that my personal values do fit with the company values and that I can feel comfortable that I still have my work life balance. That was the primary reason for moving here. I think it's a very open minded culture, it's a very international culture. It's a culture that allows those who wants to take responsibility to take it and move it to the point where they see it makes sense for them and the company. They know that I want to devote the rest of my working life towards renewable energy and these months that I've been working in Nordic solar have not done anything but to confirm that it was the right choice. One of the really great things about being in a company that grows at the pace not Xolair grows is that it creates further opportunities for the people in the company and going on this growing path. It really allows you to grasp the things where they think they are best at and grow into that direction where it's a benefit for them personally but also for the company. You can also choose where you want to specialize yourself, where you see yourself working at in the future. And ultimately where you want to develop your career. And in that sense, I can just say that Nordic Solar is an excellent place where to work at.
In business so many companies have their "Core Values" or mission statements in your face when you walk in the door, what do these words mean to you as an employee or as a potential client? Do the Core Values match with the proper employees or client opportunities? Finding the right fit for the company and position can be such a struggle, what do these values mean to you? TURBINE-X Energy Inc. has bold values that may seem simple, yet they are far beyond that. These values resonate with all of our employees, myself included, every member of the Senior Leadership Team demonstrates them every day.
We look to surround ourselves with clients who have these same values at heart; we should all Be Great, Be Kind, Stand Out, Have Fun, and Give Back. Most importantly though, businesses can't do this alone, that's why Together We Win!

Yesterday I had the chance to share some highlights from our culture journey with colleagues at the Fortum European Council.
A few comments and reflections keep spinning in my head after the very enjoyable conversation:
💡”NOW I get it! It makes a lot of sense that we need to develop these new culture priorities!”
That’s so fulfilling to hear, and at the same time I so wish we would have been able to explain it better much earlier, but it also takes time to crystallize the key messages and gain clear, strong evidence and proof points.
❓”You look always so calm and composed…how do you feel about the journey?”
First, that really sparked a genuine smile not only on my face, but also for some colleagues with whom we work more frequently. 😁
⚖️ I have mixed feelings, swinging all the way between incredible excitement when we feel people are energized to join the journey, and deep frustration when there is pushed back because life happens and priorities change.
⏳ The very difficult part is trying to strike the right balance. Which also reminded me of the saying I’ve learned in previous transformations:
“if you want to go fast, go alone. If you you want to go far, go together”.
🫣 And no, I’m not always calm and composed. But I’m working on it. 💪🏽

Canadian Solar Inc. champions open communication through a multifaceted approach. Through formal channels like all-hands meetings, town halls, an internal communication platform, and pulse surveys, leadership connects with employees regularly.
Besides, informal channels, such as the open-door policy, mentorship programs, cross-functional collaboration, and social events, further promote dialogue and camaraderie.
Emphasizing transparency and trust, initiatives also include financial transparency, clear communication of decision-making processes, and regular feedback loops.
This comprehensive strategy ensures a culture of openness, where every voice is valued, and information flows seamlessly across all levels of the organization.

What role do company culture and brand reputation play in appealing to high-caliber executive candidates seeking to make an impact within the Renewable Energy sector?
Both are very important:
- Reputation Counts: Executives place immense value on a company's integrity and customer service track record. A less-than-stellar reputation can easily turn top talent away, irrespective of the quality of products and services.
- Culture Matters: Culture isn't just a checkbox—it's a key factor executives scrutinize. They frequently ask about our client's culture and perform their own due diligence to ensure alignment with their values and work style.
Creating a positive culture and maintaining an impeccable reputation are essential steps to allure the best minds eager to make an impact in renewable energy.

The commitment of our Business Resource Group Leadership Teams and our members to fostering an environment where diversity, equity, and
inclusion (DEI) are more than just concepts is commendable. By focusing on the
nuances of creating an accessible and empathetic workplace, these teams demonstrate the profound impact of DEI in action. From the adoption of inclusive language, such as the use of pronouns, to active engagement in
mentorship and sponsorship, every action contributes to a culture where
everyone feels valued and heard. It's these seemingly small gestures that can make a significant difference, enabling a diverse range of voices to contribute to the collective success of Avangrid and setting a standard for others to follow.
President and CEO of RG&E Patricia Nilsen's servant leadership style reflects our award: “...I’d like to offer a reminder that our diversity makes us stronger. Welcoming all kinds of voices to the table is the best way to ensure
that our company is serving its customers and its employees with respect,

The Power of Teamwork: Achieving More Together 💪
In the world of business, there's one undeniable truth: teamwork makes the dream work. 🌟
When individuals come together, bringing their unique skills, perspectives, and strengths, the potential for innovation and success multiplies. Here’s why teamwork is our greatest asset:
1. **Diverse Perspectives**: A team is a melting pot of ideas. Different backgrounds and experiences foster creativity and problem-solving in ways one person alone cannot achieve.
2. **Shared Responsibility**: When the workload is distributed, we can tackle bigger challenges without feeling overwhelmed. Each member contributes their part, and together, we move mountains.
3. **Support System**: In a strong team, members lift each other up. We celebrate successes together and navigate setbacks with resilience, knowing we have each other’s backs.
4. **Continuous Learning**: Team environments are fertile grounds for learning. We learn from each other’s mistakes and triumphs, continuously growing both professionally and personally.
5. **Enhanced Productivity**: Synergy is real. When we collaborate effectively, we achieve more in less time, producing high-quality results that we can all be proud of.
Remember, great things in business are never done by one person; they are done by a team of people. Let’s keep fostering collaboration, supporting one another, and pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together.
