How does a brand with over a century of history stay relevant without losing its soul? The answer lies in Revive Renault — a strategic rebranding by Landor and Publicis Conseil that earned a Red Dot Award in 2021.
Since its founding in 1898 by Louis Renault, the Renault Group has built a legacy as one of the world’s most recognised automotive brands. The Revive Renault project carefully reimagined this heritage for a new era — creating a bold yet timeless identity that remains as distinctive today as when it was introduced.
🔹 The design system refines Renault’s visual DNA while reinforcing its future-focused outlook. A streamlined logo, a modernised typography and colour palette, and a dynamic, adaptable design language ensure a seamless and consistent presence across all brand touchpoints. The result is a visual identity that confidently bridges tradition and innovation.
More than a redesign, Revive Renault demonstrates how brand evolution can respect its origins while embracing change. It is a masterclass in striking the right balance — ensuring that Renault remains instantly recognisable, deeply rooted in its history, and ready for the road ahead.
