I am proud to be attending the Economist Impact's Space Economy Summit in Los Angeles on October 11th at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. For more than 20 years, I have worked with leaders in the space industry to develop winning communication strategies. As the space economy evolves from a predominantly government-led industry to a dynamic marketplace of commercial space applications and services, the ability to communicate to customers, partners, and investors the value of space-based services is paramount. Marketing and communication strategies are critical to reaching both public and private sector customers and educating them on the short-term and long-term vision for space. New space companies must educate both Wall Street and Congress on why they should invest in this new growth market. New space companies can no longer communicate using old strategies but must adopt bold strategies to effectively communicate the vision and value proposition of space and its applications to a global audience. Everything starts with space.

Catching up with Hannah Ashford making waves in the #space industry was a breath of fresh air. We dived deep into the space industry evolution and latest news. Like a compass she pointed me towards key companies like Axiom and The Exploration Company and places like International Space University for acquiring further knowledge and to deepen my references. It's amazing how old contacts can light up new paths of learning. I commend people who open more doors for others from the bottom of my heart. Sending the elevator back down is the right way to approach any industry or any passion really. Seeing Hannah's passion in action with The Karman Project is super inspiring, the energy reminds me of some of the NGO work I had done in the past with Magna Carta. Non-profits have plenty of challenges but we often underestimate their impact in the world. If you are curious about space, she's a treasure trove of insights.
