Hurray! It’s been almost 3 months since I joined Wragby Business Solutions & Technologies Limited, and I truly feel like I’m in the right place at the right time. The work environment is not just inspiring; it really reinforces our drive for excellence and provides a safe space for career growth and collaboration. I’ve often heard the saying, “Your colleagues are not your friends,” but in less than 5 months here, I’ve built relationships that go beyond mere friendship. This really speaks to the inclusive culture at Wragby. The past 2 months have felt like a fresh start for me, giving me the chance to rewrite my career story on a new page. The onboarding process has been the best I’ve ever experienced, giving me a comprehensive view of each department and a clear vision of the endless opportunities in technology. Triad's nationwide sales team united in St. Louis for three days of learning, laughter, and team bonding. We reflected on incredible achievements in 2023 and planned for 2024, all while having a whole lot of fun! We started off with a delicious dinner at Edera, where the dinner table turned into a comedy club - fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared joy. The next day we gained insights from thought-provoking presentations by department heads across design, customer service, engineering, finance, marketing, and installation. Engaging with experts from different departments provided us with a multitude of invaluable insights, enhancing our collective knowledge. Amen (our GM of facilities and production) guided us through the factory, showcasing our ongoing projects, machines, and investments. A significant investment for us was the construction of our new storage building. Wrapping up the experience, we had a blast at Top Golf, connecting with more members of our fantastic team and revealing some impressive skills among our team members. Triad is more than a team; it's a big, supportive family. We consistently have an incredible time whenever we come together, and we hope you have the opportunity to experience working with the Triad family. ICYMI Super excited about my new adventure at Groundswell! And if you saw my post and didn't know what I was getting into...here's a summary. (Also, if you're in the #CSR or #socialimpact space, let me know as I'd love to chat and pick your brain!) So what do we do? Groundswell is a corporate giving and volunteering platform that helps increase the impact 💰 and reduce the administrative burden of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. Most employees have no idea (or they forget) about their company matching programs and those funds never make it to charities. And if they do request a match it can take up to 90 days to get there 😱 We're focused on empowering employees to be super givers and making it easier for companies to roll out these programs. The team is amazing and I can't wait to see what we can do (also, if you have a matching/giving/volunteering program, don't forget to use it!).
