We are happy to partner with Green Yard Kleven to deliver a complete power, automation and navigation solution to a field support vessel for OMV Petrom 🌊⚡ NES will deliver 🔋 Complete energy design  ⚙️ Integrated automation system 🌐 Our advanced Raven integrated navigation system The delivery includes frequency converters, electric motors, and our Quadro Master switchboard, supported by Odin’s Eye for a game-changing DC-ring system! 🚢 “According to DNV, closed bus-ties have emerged as a viable solution to enhance energy efficiency. These allow the integration of DP power systems and reduce the number of generator sets that need to run simultaneously. This leads to optimised power-sharing, reduced fuel consumption and emissions, fewer engine hours, and lower maintenance costs", says Siv Remøy-Vangen, managing director of NES. The vessel, designed by Marin Teknikk AS, is intended for Romania’s Neptun Deep project. It will feature walk-to-work capability, an offshore crane, and accommodations for 90 crew members. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2026! 🙌 💬 “We are happy to have NES with us on this important contract, and we are really looking forward to the collaboration. 🎉 One step closer to the finish line! 🔥 Mert, Mustafa, and the rest of our team in Turkey just completed the final check on the AC main switchboards for the Windkeeper project – before they are installed on the vessel. Well done! 🤝 ✅ By passing the factory acceptance test, we are gearing up for the next phase of bringing these exciting vessels to life. ⚡️ The AC main switchboards, in combination with a DC ring net and the energy storage system, will distribute power across the vessel so that all systems run smoothly and efficiently. As the ship's power hub, they ensure that energy flows reliably to every part of the vessel, from propulsion to critical onboard equipment. 🤩 We also got a look at how the building is progressing at CEMRE SHIPYARD. ⚡ We are proud to power up Rem Inspector with our cutting-edge energy storage system for Rem Offshore! ⚡   🔋 We will integrate and deliver a 1 MW battery package featuring our QUEST® energy storage system. The containerised battery system optimises energy use by enabling peak shaving, spinning reserve, and harbour mode. ⚙️ By integrating batteries into the REM Inspector, we reduce the number of diesel generators in use while maintaining DP class, resulting in significant operational cost savings while reducing emissions. 💬 “NES has a strong track record of delivering energy storage systems to offshore vessels, which is why we have chosen them as a cooperation partner for the Rem Inspector," says Lars Conradi Andersen, CEO of Rem Offshore By retrofitting existing vessels with energy storage systems, they aim to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining operational reliability. 💬 "Reducing energy consumption on offshore vessels is achieved through several measures, including integrating battery storage, energy management systems, and optimised propulsion.
