The best hospitality operators already know this. When it comes to training hospitality people, there is always a challenge. The foundation of a great guest experience is the relaxed, comfortable way that our people meet their needs. Right? The more relaxed your team are, the more relaxed your guests will be and their experience overall will improve significantly. But here is the problem. How do we get our teams to balance the relaxed approach with the significant intensity that we need from them to ensure we keep everything moving and delivering a slick operation? It isn't something that just happens - it's something you have to train them for. How many times do you see new people getting thrown into the heat of a shift? Overwhelmed by their tasks and unsure of what they should be doing, How are they possibly going to provide a relaxing and memorable experience (for all the right reasons) for your guests? Exactly - they can't. You have to train that in them. Get started today! Need help? Just drop me a message and I would be more than happy to get you started in the right direction. #hospitalityindustry #hospitality #hotels #restaurants #foodandbeverage

Michelin are launching a 1, 2 and 3 tier system for rating hotels - replacing the coveted #michelinstars with #michelinkeys. Crucially, restaurants in hotels may also be awarded a Michelin Star. So they will be reviewed independently. But doesn't it make for a more favourable choice if a hotel has a great restaurant? Interesting to see how it pans out... I hope windows that can be opened are a pre-requisite for any 1-, 2- or 3- Key hotel. I loathe being in a hermetically-sealed room with temperature and air-changes-per-hour dictated by a remote. The first night tends to be a gamble to familiarise oneself with the controls, and the second might result in a better night's sleep. https://lnkd.in/eaYvE6FC #michelin #michelinkeys #hotels #hoteldesign #ranking
