In anticipation for NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s upcoming keynote on June 2, we reflect on one of our past favorite #NVIDIAkeynote moments. Just a few months ago, we heard from Jensen Huang at GTC 2024. We enjoyed hearing about his vision for the future of AI and GPU technology. Orbbec’s Depth+RGB vision systems play a critical role in enabling autonomous operations for sophisticated robots for different industries and we were thrilled to see Jensen showcase several robotics solutions and emphasize NVIDIA’s focus on robotics. Orbbec demoed a few solutions to customers and partners: 👉Orbbec Femto Time-of-Flight (ToF) and Gemini Stereo Vision cameras integrate with NVIDIA's Isaac ROS which makes it easier for customers to develop and deploy autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and robot arm applications. 👉 Virtual models of Orbbec cameras allow developers to utilize synthetic data for simulations in platforms like Omniverse and Isaac Sim, fostering innovation and iteration in a virtual environment. 👉Femto Mega cameras use built-in NVIDIA’s Jetson System on Modules (SOMs) for processing of advanced depth algorithms and eliminates need for dedicated attached compute.
