According to Gallup’s most recent survey in 2023 of employee engagement in the U.S., a very significant number of workers experienced a growing sense of detachment from their employers, and overall employee engagement stagnated, with only 33% of U.S. full- and part-time employees reporting engagement, reflecting a recent sharp decline from previous years. This was marked by unclear expectations, reduced satisfaction levels, and an overall diminished connection to the organization's mission. Additionally, Gallup's survey revealed a decline in employees feeling cared for personally as individuals in the workplace.
