Just dipped into the 3rd season for Amazon Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm. I'm only up to ep. 2 so far, and say what you will about him, but great to see his promotion of #regenerativefarming. Crucial for protecting and encouraging #biodiversity, and something that we are regularly discussing with ag focused companies. #sustainableinvesting

A little bit of news, or not... but Floop is no more. I have taken the decision to not continue developing it any further and to instead reposition myself in a way that I can build new ideas rapidly and get them into the hands of potential users. Roughly speaking, I spent a good 6 months, working on Floop in the very early mornings and a few more months trying to get it to take off. To be honest, I think I burnt out a little bit because of it. During the last 12 months, Floop gained a whopping 13 users! 12 of which didn't actually use Floop and even more frustratingly, 0 submissions across any of the users. Why am I sharing those stats? Because it is demotivating as hell to put so much time and energy into something, to have it Flop (see what I did there). So moving forward, I am currently putting a list of ideas together for new potential projects but I am giving myself some constraints for the new projects. So, Floop is dead, there is more to come, long live the McDonalds Breakfast Wrap!

Oprah's Billion Dollar Secret Is Available For You Empathy in Influence: Oprah's Powerful Insight 🌟 In her profound wisdom, Oprah encapsulates a universal truth: Everyone seeks to be seen, heard, and valued. Her remarkable journey to becoming a multi-billionaire, overcoming numerous challenges, was anchored in her ability to truly see and listen to people. Empathy is about presence, about genuinely feeling what others feel. Imagine the transformative power of extending this empathy to everyone, without an agenda – from the Uber driver to the janitor, and even those we find difficult. By embracing this genuine empathy, we can not only impact individual lives but also aspire to a fraction of Oprah's monumental influence. #EmpathyInInfluence #OprahsWisdom #SeanCallagyReflections

I’ve been working at Sendoso for coming up on 5 years—aka a lifetime in startup years. Sendoso has always been pretty good to me. But I’ll admit - when I first started here, I didn’t fully believe in it. From the outside it doesn't make that much sense (plus I was answering support tickets about Starbucks cards.) Then I saw how direct mail impacts our customer's pipelines, and I was still kind of skeptical on the "influence" versus "attribution." Then I moved into a role where I get at minimum 10 cold outbound messages/emails/calls a day. Now I really understand why Sendoso works. Sales and marketing are getting more and more automated and impersonal. Blasting your audience with outbound is the norm now, so when you personalize and use gifting, it shows me that I may actually be the right buyer, or at least you think so. #SendIt #DirectMail

I help brands create better content | Branding & Social Media Consultant | Content & Influencer Marketing | LinkedIn Personal Branding
Heinz asked people to draw ketchup and this is what happened. They did a social experiment, activating across five continents - connecting via in-person, video conference, classrooms, and an anonymous website. Heinz asked one simple thing: “Draw Ketchup.” Most of the participants drew a Heinz Tomato Ketchup bottle. Heinz then ran that ad as a global campaign. When a brand owns a category, they get to name the category It's not a cab. It's an Uber. It's not a photocopy. It's Xerox. It's not a laptop. It's a Macbook. This ad was Heinz's showing that after 155 years, they still wear the crown. If you enjoyed this post, repost this ♻️ for your network. #marketing #creative #ad
