What is your favorite piece in the museum’s collection?
Can we arrange for TA employees to be locked in to explore the archives? JK 😉 I do think the museum should open the archives for tours - the OHNY one I went on several years ago was amazing - and the guide basically encouraged us to open drawers and look around.
How do you manage to run museum trains through the subway system? It’s an impressive achievement that no other transit system can boast!
What is your 'not miss' recommendation to see at the museum? Also - what story surprised you the most?
My favorite memory is riding public transit after Hurricane Sandy- with my wedding dress in tow! Concetta- what’s the most unique use for those beautiful old subway tokens you have ever seen?!
Hi Concetta! What inspired you to focus on cataloguing the history of mass transit and its impact on New York?
