At your first Crown Court appearance, known as a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH), you’ll enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. If you plead not guilty, the court will set out key dates for trial preparation. If you plead guilty, the court will decide if it can proceed to sentencing or adjourn for sentence on a later date. Your solicitor will guide you through the process, ensuring you’re prepared every step of the way. #ptph #crowncourt #plea #legaladvice #court
