The fourth day of our economic development mission took us to Nagoya, Japan, where we had an enriching experience focused on bolstering our relationship with Toyota and Japanese businesses. I met with Toyota executives at the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. Toyota has been a vital part of Texas’s economy for over 20 years. Their significant investments in manufacturing facilities in Plano and San Antonio have brought thousands of good-paying jobs to hardworking Texans. Later, I met with executives from Aisin to discuss our long-standing partnership and future collaborative efforts in automotive manufacturing. I also thanked them for their recent investment in Cibolo. I look forward to continuing our economic development mission as we build a more innovative future for both Texas and Japan. Retired purchasing agent
1moGovernor Abbott it’s wonderful that you are creating jobs for Texans, but stop letting foreigners purchase our precious Texas soil. They can lease the property, but not own! Please Governor Greg Abbott create a law that our land in Texas is not to be purchased by “any” foreign person or government.
