The power of partnerships!

🚀 As we stand on the brink of a transformative era in drug development, the timing couldn't be better for the BioMelbourne Network #BioForum on “Advancing Non-Animal Models in Biomedical Research.” This event aligns with the aims of the FDA Modernisation Act 3.0 (https://lnkd.in/gc_auWeM) – a bill that introduced in the US House of Representative on February 6 and aims to push the U.S. FDA to implement the FDA Modernization Act 2.0. This law passed at the end of 2022 and introduces a process for the qualification of nonclinical testing methods to reduce and replace the use of animals in nonclinical research, improve the predictivity of nonclinical testing methods, and reduce development time for therapeutic candidates. 🌍 Globally, biotech, pharma and regulatory bodies are shifting towards more reliable, humane, and cost-effective testing methods. This shift promises to deliver therapies that are not only better and safer but also more accessible to everyone.
