Hello world! I am very excited to share that a project I collaborated on during my period at the HCPA - Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre has been published this month. The paper is open-access and can be acessed following the doi /10.1590/1678-4685-GMB-2023-0125. My technical contribution to this project was the creation of an R package to automates the identification of biological terms given a set of genes, integrating several other databases. This package helped to identify the roles of the genes in which the DNA variants were found, resulting on a broader and more meaningful analysis.
