Mariana, Rogier, Lizzy, the master minds behind the The Global Network of Lighthouse Farms, saw the potential for professional education and started a Lighthouse Farm Academy, to which we as Cycle to Farms contributed when addressing the realities of #regenerative agriculture in Africa. Navigating new agricultural systems and developing business models that collaborate with nature is extremely challenging. The VI Forum for Networking SIR Partners took place yesterday in Wroclaw. The event was organized by the Agricultural Advisory Center in Brwinów, Warsaw Branch, as part of the Network for Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas (SIR). We had the opportunity to discuss the products (mainly FoodPass and FarmPortal) with the farming community. Here are some of the key takeaways from the Forum: - Innovation is key to developing Polish agriculture and increasing its competitiveness. - There are many opportunities to finance agricultural projects, including projects implementing innovations. - Cooperation between different sectors of agriculture is important for effectively implementing innovations.
