Uisce Éireann Irish Water is a brillant place to learn huge array of things about water and wastewater and how we bring clean safe drinking water to 1.7 million homes and 178,000 businesses. We’re a regulated business with significant commitments to deliver a resilient water services. We’ve Customer teams, a huge Operations Team who have real challenges every day to keep the water flowing. We also deliver huge strategic programmes with over 8,000 different assets from reservoirs, to pumping station, water and wastewater treatment plants and a whopping 63,000 kilometres of water pipes, much of it old and in need of upgrade. Our graduates will be exposed to the science bit, hydreology, laboratory testing of water, how we build and manage vast amount of infrastructure, to energy and to the future using renewable energy sources. Uisce Éireann Irish Water use 20% of all electricity in the public sector, to keep all of our assets running. They will also learn about leakage, about communications, finance, corporate governance, regulation and the required HR Strategy and Safety Strategies, led by our People & Safety Director, Dawn O'Driscoll They will also learn about the complexity of IT transformation and the business services and systems needed to run a complex and growing business like ours. It’s brillant to welcome our new graduates. Please ask us all plenty of questions. There is so much to learn. You’re joining a team with a brillant purpose; led by CEO Niall Gleeson and that is to enable communities all over Ireland to thrive by supporting economic growth and development and connecting much needed new homes, to a sustainable resilient water supply. Water is a precious and finite resource. We need to value and protect it more than ever before with climate change and drought now a real risk to our water supplies. Welcome everyone.

Celebrating Achievements on LinkedIn: January A Month of Collective Success Stories Did anyone else notice on LinkedIn that January was a month of a true testament to the spirit of unity and celebration? It was genuinely inspiring to witness so many peers and connections honor their previous year’s achievements. This period reminded us of the essence of moving forward, leaving behind negativity to embrace life’s fullness. It was about coming together to acknowledge our collective hard work and dedication. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the times when anticipation for president’s club awards and trips filled the air. The rewards were extravagant and varied, from luxury watches and cars to all-expenses-paid vacations. These tokens of appreciation weren’t just for the individual but extended to their peers and loved ones, enhancing the sense of community and shared success. Company trips varied in scale, some accommodating hundreds, while others were intimate gatherings of a president’s club of five. But regardless of the size, the underlying message was clear – let’s continue to celebrate our achievements, both big and small. Such moments strengthen our bonds and renew our commitment to excellence.
