Exciting Announcement: Launching the Biotech Syndicate Club! 🌟 We are thrilled to share that we are officially launching the Biotech Syndicate Club, a new initiative dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth in the field of biotechnology. As the first biotech-focused club on campus, we aim to create a dynamic community for students passionate about biotechnology, bridging interdisciplinary gaps and providing hands-on opportunities to explore and innovate. Meet the Founders 👥 This club is founded by Sai Vignathri Vaddi, Nithya Burisetty, and Shirin Mohamed. Together, we are committed to making a significant impact in the biotech community. Our Mission 🌱 The Biotech Syndicate Club is committed to: - Bridging interdisciplinary gaps between fields such as biology, engineering, and computer science. - Create a community for a long term research project, to compete in IGEM and GOGEC  - Providing volunteer opportunities and participating in competitions like iGEM. - Hosting poster sessions to showcase innovative projects and research. - Organizing company visits and events to connect members with industry professionals. - Offering professional development workshops to enhance resumes and provide career guidance. A little humorous wisdom today. As someone solidly in the GenX group, and specializing in employment, I am constantly learning and adapting to the nuances of the different generations. I came from a time without cell phones and home computers. This has caused constant adaptation throughout my career to rise to the level that technology and society demands. I think this provides a valuable learning opportunity for many of us. Life is CHANGE. Whether it's technology or social environments, we have to be willing to learn. A good start is having humility. So as an aging generation faces new and unique requirements to stay relevant, lean on those Flintstone vitamins and do what we have always done: adapt and overcome. You've got this! #genx #employment

Congratulations to the recent #TeamBayer recipients of the SASE - Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers Outstanding Career Achievement award. Each of the award winners - Yanfei Wang, Kun He, Aqeel Ahmad, Yurong Chen, and Grace Liu (left to right in the picture below) - exemplifies mentorship and scientific excellence, and have contributed more to their careers at Bayer than is possible to list here. Collaboration is so important to scientific excellence. Part of what stands out about each of these awardees is their commitment not only to being the go-to expert in their fields, but additionally their participation in internal employee groups, scientific societies, and community outreach. It takes passion to ignite the spark of innovation, and these five awardees have used their passion to help ignite the spark in many others over the course of their careers. It's colleagues like Yanfei, Kun, Aqeel, Yurong, and Grace who help make Bayer such a wonderful place to work.
