*Sommerfest* Even though Leon has been an #officedog for nearly 4 years, yesterday was his first INFORM GmbH - Optimization Software Sommerfest. And he was included like always🥰 He got a lot of cuddles, and maybe he "found" some good food. (Food at INFORM Sommerfest is always soo delicious) Every year more dogs attend, and I think that is amazing and makes it even more fun. Not everything at INFORM is perfect, but what makes INFORM outstanding in my opinion is that they try to give you the possibility to make your work life a bit more combinable with your private life. *If your Team is okay with #dogs and your dog knows how to behave in the office, you can bring them. *We have a #Kindergarten in our office building. *We have #ParentChildOffices. *We can work #remote if we want or come to the #office. Depending on where you feel more productive. Yes, work is for earning money to pay our bills and not a playground for adults. But why not making/earning money in an environment which can adapt a little bit to your personal preference and to your current situation!? If the work gets done in a good quality, in my opinion, it doesn't matter if it is in the office with a dog snoring under your desk or from home. What are your opinions on that?

OWL Eyes on me! I'm honored to share this post as the newest OWL in the parliament. My name is Haley Stoltzman and I joined OWL in 2022 as the Business Operations Manager. I come from a background in software project management and small business operations. While I don’t have the exciting origin stories of our owners/founders (please scroll down on our page to read the true stories of how OWL came about), I do have a short Q&A style post! What's the best piece of advice you've received that has guided your professional journey? “Follow the leader, not the money.” This piece of advice was given to me by my first professional mentor at JBS. He emphasized that if I found a company/leader with a vision I believed in, to stick with them and learn and grow (and the money eventually follows). I’ve really taken the advice to heart and have had such a rewarding career working for software start-ups, starting a company with my husband and now working for OWL. Really being invested in a team and vision makes each day so fulfilling and I’m so proud to say that I work with an amazing team here at OWL. What aspect of your business brings you the most joy and fulfillment? When colleagues ask me “Hey, can we get a report on X?” or “Do you have the number of Y?” and I can say YES. I am a big believer in process, data and transparency and I feel that I am doing my job well when I’m able to share clear insights with the team. What's your favorite type of music to play in the office to stay motivated and focused?  I always have music on in the background as I work (work from home can get quiet!) and I’ve really been enjoying country classics. How do you like to spend time outside of work? I love spending time with my husband, our 4 children and dog. We really enjoy getting out into the great Colorado outdoors with (very short) hikes and lots of time at the park. Cooking, mountain biking and yoga are some other ways I like to kick back when time allows.

4 months... What started as countless car rides and late-night drinks with Lode Vochten is now celebrating its four-month milestone. For years, I’ve been searching for the right words to explain what we aim to achieve, our purpose, and where communication is heading. And I’ve always failed ... Then yesterday, I stumbled upon this stand-up set by the wunderkind Josh Johnson. My immediate reaction? "F*** me." This kid not only articulated my beliefs better than I ever could but also managed to bash Drake while proving how Kendrick unites all the LA subcultures. So, let me give it another shot. At Defiant, our mission is to bridge the gap between brands and culture through communities. Cultural relevance is our main KPI, and we strive to give back to these communities. Our goal isn’t about headcount, net worth, or flashy offices. No, we want to impact culture and communities through the right brands... and have fun doing it. Whether it’s collaborating with the lads at Koolisse Media, our amazing founding client at bonsai (shout out to JULIE CLAUTIER and Gill Otte), Guilherme Nunes and his amazing new design studio BROTO, the wonderful Geert Van Mol, or teaming up with Gauthier Elslander, Karel Vinck and Finch Collective, fun is always part of the equation.
