Big news coming from Port of Hueneme as they implement new cutting edge technology to capture and control emissions from vessels at berth. The Stax solution is a great option for ports that aren't able to utilize shore power. For those less familiar with maritime decarbonization, this is sometimes fondly referred to as a #bonnet because it basically puts a giant filter on the ships stacks while they are at berth unloading or loading their shipment. I'm excited to learn more about the tech and the process as the project is implemented and more systems deploy across the state.
