This PoC demonstrated secure, decentralized authentication and cross-validation for HD maps, ensuring up-to-date, accurate data for improved safety and efficiency. True HD maps are extremely high-resolution and are updated in near-real time, using crowdsourced data from vehicles, roadside cameras, and other sources. AddSecure's System Eliminates Blind Spots! AddSecure introduces its solution: RoadView-DVS, a system that uses artificial intelligence to precisely and proactively detect traffic participants in vehicle blind spots. It consists of two key components: a move-off information system with a front blind spot camera capable of detecting vulnerable road users up to 5 meters in front of the vehicle, and a side blind spot information system with a dual-lens side camera covering up to 30 meters on the passenger side of the vehicle. Artificial intelligence integrated with both cameras distinguishes pedestrians and cyclists from stationary roadside elements. If a threat is detected, an alarm is activated in the cabin to increase driver alertness. Additionally, an external sound alarm is installed to warn pedestrians when the vehicle is turning.
