This morning, we have participated in the event organized by CEJE Círculo Empresarial Japón España together with ICEX and Foment del Treball Nacional to discuss the relations between Spain and Japan in the health sector.   Our colleague ana-pilar gonzalez salillas, Chief Operating Officer at AGC Pharma Chemicals, has had the opportunity to participate in the round table "Two markets: the business vision". Last week, I attended the Financial Conference by Časnik Finance and Ljubljana Stock Exchange in Portorož, focusing on challenges and opportunities for financial professionals. 📈   I was privileged to join the panel "Challenges for Financial Professionals When Companies Have Surpluses," sharing insights with David Bratoz, Gregor Lojk, and led by Jure Ugovsek.   Salus Group / Skupina Salus has experienced rapid growth and expanded its patient reach in Central and Eastern Europe in recent years. Any surpluses are reinvested into the company's growth. Last year we finalized two acquisitions, strengthening our presence in rare disease and diagnostics.    Besides building a commercial platform for pharmaceuticals in CEE, important earnings still come from wholesale activities in Slovenia. One of the main hurdles we face is the wholesale margin, particularly for high-cost medicines, which is fixed and regulated and has not changed since 2012, what negatively impacts our profitability and working capital.   #Finance #Salus #Healthcare #CEE #Innovation

A SPECIAL economic zone in Victoria, Tarlac that will specialize in pharmaceutical-industry locators is expected to attract P400 million worth of investments, according to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). At a briefing on Wednesday, PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga said that the developer of Victoria Industrial Park, which was proclaimed the country’s first pharmaceutical ecozone, will also expand its own ointments business within the zone.
