Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative’s Post

At OBRC, our vision of a world where no resource is wasted means helping inspire positive change beyond our borders. Jules Bailey, our President and CEO, has been invited to testify before the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Thursday, Sept. 28, at 10:00 am EDT (7:00 am PDT). The purpose of the Congressional Hearing is to examine solutions to address beverage container waste, and Oregon’s nation-leading 85.5% redemption rate and only statewide refillable bottle caught the Committee’s attention. We are beyond excited to have the Oregon Model featured at the national level! You can stream the hearing from either the Committee’s website or YouTube: - https://lnkd.in/gFzzsB67 - youtube.com/c/epwcmte
