Oregon has experienced a historically devastating wildfire season this year – and it’s not over yet. That’s why we’ve activated the OBRC Emergency Fund to support wildfire relief. We’ll match all donations made through BottleDrop by Sept. 30! Funds will be evenly distributed to four organizations identified by the Oregon Department of Emergency Management as trusted in collecting donations for people impacted by 2024 wildfires: Oregon Chapter of the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, Oregon Farm Bureau Federation, Oregon Cattlemen's Association and OSU Extension / OSU Foundation Research. Created for Oregon Beverage Recycling Company, the film chronicles Seamus trying to earn money recycling bottles at Oregon BottleDrop to buy his very own fish and be like his big sister. We watch as Seamus learns more about the environmental impact of waste and to appreciate the power of recycling. For our team, “How Seamus Gets a Fish” is a wonderful demonstration of how, sometimes, the most interesting stories happen right in front of us.
