So to all my new Perry UPS out there, though, I wanted to really share with you something that. I will say over and over and over again to you all the time. It is so OK to be scared. Nervous. Um. And uneasy. That uneasy feeling. I know it. I felt it. I've been there. It's it's overwhelming sometimes. But let me tell you, you have been through a program. Hopefully that has given you the foundation to be an OR nurse. From here, it is really what you want it to be. You need to just go out there and do the work. Do what you've learned to do. Fall back on what you've learned in your Periop 101. Ask questions. You can ask me questions. Um, I'm always happy to answer anything, but hopefully you have a support system where you're working where you can fall back on if you have questions. Because the more you ask, the more you learn. The more you do, the more you learn, um, competence. Comes with time. And justice, because you're scared and nervous doesn't mean you're not competent. So you can do this. I know you can. Even though it's scary. It's going to be for the first year. But hang in there because you'll be so happy you did.
