My 2024 career strategy: - Add 104 new contacts to my network. - Find 3 repetitive chores that I can automate. - Delegate 25% of the current tasks that I am doing. - Learn 1 new technical skill in audio or video creation. - Test at least 1 new camera angle for my productions. My actions to achieve these goals: - Looking as much productions from others sports as I can. - Trust my team and show it with action not only words. - I am studying and practicing DaVinci Resolve editing. - Talk with more people and learn to accept rejection. - Learn as much as I can about AI in broadcasting. I love these goals Oscar. Primarily because they are simple and "low" bars. Most of us, including myself, think we can do about 10 times as much as we can. We set goals that are too big, get discouraged, and then quit. The key to success is lowering the bar.

My career strategy always includes outreach to my Network - Curiosity about upcoming projects, asking the next question, and when appropriate, “How can I assist?”

These are great goals Oscar Sanchez And not just goals.... followed by actions 👏 Nothing to add! Just a question: how often to you find 3 repetitive chores that I can automate?

Secure at least one more client for social media management service (in the works). Seek out and formalize two mutually beneficial business partnerships. One with at least one (more is better) recording studio(s) offering social media management and live streaming / podcast production services to artists / clients (in the works). The second partnering with an existing organization engaged in live streaming services as a contractor to come on when they need additional engineers for bigger jobs (coming soon).

I get inspired by people, and I want to travel less. So my 2024 improvement strategy is to meet more great people in Virginia, DC, and North Carolina. I’ll do this by attending events with organizations like PCMA, AMA, and local/regional networking groups.
