Recognition matters because representation matters! Full disclosure: I worked on this program for nearly two years. I understand its integrity and know from experience that winners often go on to do even more amazing things (I.e., inclusive leaders pay it forward!). Out & Equal’s Outie Awards recognize inclusive leaders and strategic initiatives that are making positive changes in their workplaces (and beyond!) for LGBTQIA+ talent, and others! There are so many champions out there doing great work! Often quietly and without much support. Apply and help recognize these champions, while amplifying their efforts as role models for others to follow! #recognitionmatters #representationmatters #inclusiveleadership

Pride month is winding down, but, as we’ve highlighted this month, so many amazing organizations and people support the LGBTQ+ community all year long. Out & Equal is celebrating these folks with their Outie Awards. If you know of a person or group who “is advancing LGBTQ+ workplace equity, inclusion, and belonging in measurable ways,” consider nominating them for an Outie! #pride #dei #belonging #humanresourcesmanagement https://lnkd.in/gskbgTre

There’s a misconception that allyship is primarily about supporting a specific subset of individuals, such as LGBTQ+ people. Here’s what’s true: inclusion is for everyone. Logan Chapman, an Onboarding & Enablement Coordinator, at Spring Health, and part of our OutSpring ERG 🏳️🌈, shares his insights as a team member and how leaders can become allies to LGBTQ+ employees and create a #workplace environment where everyone feels like they belong. The article also features insights from two other OutSpring ERG members across recruiting and onboarding on what allyship means to them. It feels good to work for an organization where everyone feels included. Learn how you can become an ally to LGBTQ+ team members by cultivating a workplace environment where everyone feels like they belong.

In #publicsafety , everyone is #family You spend more holidays with your co-workers than you do with your own family. Of course, you have that weird aunt or grumpy uncle but at the end of the day - regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs, sexuality, etc. Everyone loves eachother and supports eachother through those difficult calls. Coming over to the private sector, I didn’t know what to expect. #Thankful to have joined a company that welcomes #diversity and supports all employees. Verint has created a culture that embraces #inclusion while providing #opportunities and #support for everyone. #equality #employeeresourcegroup #ERG #diversity #verint #publicsector #publicsafety #community #bestplacestowork #culture #proud #together #verinteer #technology #techjobs #womenintech
Leadership means embracing inclusion year-round, not just during Pride Month. It's about creating a culture that recognizes and appreciates the diversity of our workforce throughout the year. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest Employee Resource Group – LGBTQ+. This group is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for all our LGBTQ+ Verinteers, helping them to grow and thrive. Join us this month and beyond as the LGBTQ+ ERG hosts engaging programs and events, shares valuable education, and drives impactful change. Together, we're building a more diverse, innovative, and better Verint. Happy #PrideMonth!

💡Leaders, your journey toward genuine workplace equality extends far beyond the mere adoption of inclusive policies. It requires a deep, actionable commitment to dismantling the systemic barriers that LGBTQ+ employees face, particularly in accessing leadership roles and achieving equitable compensation. These challenges not only impact the individual growth of your LGBTQ+ talent but also reflect on your collective ability to nurture a truly empowering workplace environment. 💡As leaders within our network, you are in a unique position to drive transformative change. Your actions can bridge the gap between policy and practice, ensuring that inclusivity is not just a policy on paper but a lived reality. By actively working to elevate LGBTQ+ talent into leadership positions and advocating for their fair compensation, you can help accelerate the push to improve standards. 💡You are welcome to reach out to me if you need to discuss these important issues further. #RoleModels #Allies #ProudWork #LGBTGreat https://lnkd.in/ewBb4Pkx
