🔵 Responding to today’s launch of the UK’s next five-year national action plan for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) 2024-2029, Dr Beverley Isherwood and Dr Clive Mason, PACE Programme Directors, said: 💬 “This announcement shines a light on the urgent needs around AMR. PACE was delighted to contribute to this policy paper, and we’re pleased to see the government’s commitment to optimising antimicrobials, overcoming barriers and investing in innovation. We are dedicated to funding and supporting the innovative scientific research being conducted globally to develop diagnostics, antimicrobials and alternative therapies which meet UK and global needs. The ability to sustain and grow our capabilities and skills to address AMR is critical.
