Co working spaces are evolving! I’ve tried a lot of them but always found the same experience. Coffee and snacks are great but there was no collaboration, networking, or fun conversations. People showed up but everyone just put on their headphones and sat quietly. I went from feeling isolated at home to feeling isolated in a public environment. Finally I am seeing captured moments, where there are no briefs which enforces engagement or people being told to be happy and joyful 😕, just for the purpose of social media. These moments captured , are definitely “in the moment and in the emotion” but most of all being their Authentic selves,celebrating each other! For the the longest, I have always been celebrating people or companies who are : people focused / people centric 😄! They are more than just “posting to tap into their social media analytics” . I have always been about companies who value people. Why? Because, Companies or leaders who value people, play a very important role not just in the companys ROI ( or profits ,in some way😞) but the most valuable thing is , they are reducing negative factors that play such an important percentage of our economic climate - specifically - economic growth, percentage of unemployment! After my team was acquired along with Vincere, my new boss commented on my team’s ‘showmanship’… 😱 Now, me being the northern shrinking violet that I am, immediately responded with: “Get stuffed”. But then I got back in my box and thought about it. On reflection, it was a huge compliment and something we deliberately created, it didn’t happen by accident. Not surprising our win rate was 77% and it wasn’t unusual for senior reps to over deliver on annual quotas in excess of £1m ARR. Sales methodology is vital. Rigour is the only way to scale, but whatever you do 🙏🏻 Don’t forget to put on a great show for your prospects. #sales
