Earlier this month I hit my 4 year anniversary with Mohawk Industries. The time has flown by and I have really enjoyed it so far. One thing that seems to stay true with recruiting from year to year is that it is a rollercoaster ride. The key is to have more ups than downs. Thanks to a great team and partners throughout the company, I think we have done that so far. On to the next 4. #MoreWithMohawk #enjoytheride #talentacquisition #recruiting

Truly one-of-a-kind service from a one-of-a-kind person.
Each month, we celebrate our work anniversaries through our Milestone Program, but rarely do we get to celebrate such a significant achievement as 30 years! On this day in 1994, our current CEO Keith Wolken hired Cecil Sloley. Since then, Cecil has managed countless transitions, accounts, programs, and employees at Service Management Systems. Though he has seen a lot of change over three decades, a few things remain the same – his embodiment of our 12 core values and “Whatever it Takes!” motto, his passion and commitment to seeing our company succeed, and his investment in his team and employees. We are honored to still have him as part of our Executive Leadership Team and wish him continued success throughout his career. 🎉 Celebrating my 24th birthday this week! Until recently age was something I avoided discussing, afraid that it would downplay my years of experience but after joining the corporate world days after turning 16, I'm also celebrating 8 years in corporate retail. Since joining the team at Quadmark I have come to appreciate the insight and experience I have gained by starting when I did and wanted to share some of my biggest lessons so far: Diverse Mentors: Valuable lessons often come from unexpected sources. Embracing diverse perspectives teaches you the best lessons. Seek out unexpected mentors—they may provide insights that shape your journey. Embrace Challenges: Growth in my career has often stemmed from daunting challenges. Each obstacle is a chance for personal and professional development. Say yes to scary things. Learning to Learn: Balancing work and study early in my career taught me a crucial lesson: education isn't just about subjects (looking at my IT degree); it's mastering the art of learning, it gives you the confidence when presented with a new challenge that you can tackle it. #CareerJourney #BirthdayReflections #ProfessionalGrowth

🌟 Celebrate Your Wins – You Deserve It! 🌟 As the work week comes to a close, it’s easy to get caught up in what you didn’t accomplish. But here's the truth: you likely achieved more than you realize, especially if you put in the work. We all have that inner voice pushing us to do more, to be better. But no matter how much we accomplish, there’s always something left on the to-do list. And that’s okay. Taking a moment to reflect on your wins—big or small—is important for progress. Whether it’s learning something new, making a positive impact, or simply moving a project forward, these are the things worth celebrating. 🥳 This weekend, carve out some time just for you. Whether it’s diving into a book you've been meaning to read (like I plan to 📚), going for a walk, or treating yourself to something you enjoy, do something that helps you recharge and relax. Remember, you did your best this week, and that’s more than enough reason to celebrate! 🎉 What will you be doing to refresh this weekend?

Last month marked my 6th year at Kendra Scott, and it’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for my time here. This year, I became the Co-Chair of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Council and finally met Kendra! Two things that have been on my bucketlist for years! To celebrate, here are 6 things I’ve learned from my time at Kendra Scott: 1. Despite what you may have heard, women actually want and are meant to work together! 2. Prioritizing belonging isn't just a "nice to have"; it's essential for creating a workplace that employees are proud to brag about. 3. A nonlinear career can provide a diverse skill set and enriching life experiences, opening doors to unexpected and rewarding opportunities. 4. Great leaders see possibility in their teams and inspire their people to innovate without fear! 5. We all have an innate desire to help others and should leverage our positions to improve our corners of the world. 6. Be like the Boss: Like Kendra, lead with heart and see the person behind every interaction. I can’t help but to feel that there’s so much more for me to learn and I’m looking forward to every lesson! Cheers to 6 years, KS! ✨

We are filled with excitement as we consider the strengths and opportunities that lie ahead of our staff. Our greatest assets are our employees - a group of talented individuals who have contributed to our success and will continue to play a crucial role in shaping our future. We connected with Keegan Bunt about how he feels about the future of the firm. *What do you see in the future for your professional growth here? "Endless knowledge. With how the firm is structured I can work on a new type of project almost daily, with that I am constantly learning new things." *What has been the most valuable lesson you have learned so far? How do you choose the right pension provider for your employees? For anyone faced with the uneneviable task of having to make this choice, you should make FTRC your go-to resource. They have the most comprehensive question set I have ever seen and an ability to instantly compare multiple products in a like-for-like comparison. At a reasonable cost. It’s impartial, quant, and the scores don’t have an agenda. And great that we’re gold again!

It's almost time for our 10th anniversary celebration. Over the last few posts, we've looked at the elements of our newly refined brand, and today we reveal our Brand Purpose - the 'why' of what we do: 'Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships. We empower businesses by solving one of their biggest challenges: finding the right people. We're not just recruiters; we're problem-solvers and enablers, helping to lift businesses by ensuring they have the talent they need to succeed. We're about more than just recruitment; we're about powering the growth of our industries and the careers of our professionals, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. We don't fill a vacancy; we understand the precise needs of both the role and the individual, to ensure the perfect match.' The tagline, 'Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships', works on a multi-layered system, talking to the literal aspect of engineering and construction, as well as the metaphorical idea of enabling clients, candidates, and our team to build their own futures through partnership with Mech Tech. We worked with @wearerebel_lion to enable us to shape our future journey, and we're looking forward to the next 10 years of Mech Tech. On May 20th, we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a new video, where we sat down with the team to hear what their thoughts, feelings, and emotions are around the world of Mech Tech where we're Engineering Futures, Constructing Partnerships.

Today we celebrated two team members 10 year anniversaries. In today's dynamic business landscape, where change is constant and innovation drives progress, it's easy to get caught up in the allure of rapid turnover and constant churn. However, amidst the whirlwind of new hires and fresh perspectives, there lies a hidden gem that often goes unnoticed: tenure. Tenure within a company is not merely a measure of how long an employee has been with an organization; it's a testament to loyalty, dedication, and a deep-rooted commitment to the company's mission and values. While the trend of job hopping may seem appealing on the surface, it's crucial to recognize the immense value that long-serving employees bring to the table. Let's raise a toast to the tenured employees who continue to shape and enrich our organizations every day. Your contributions do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the unwavering dedication and commitment you bring to the table. Here's to many more years of shared success and continued growth together!
