Heading into 2024... 🟣 More than 102 million people nationwide now live in primary care shortage areas. 🟣 Patient wait times for healthcare appointments are increasing, with more than 40% of polled patients reporting 'longer than reasonable' wait times for care. 🟣 Demand for senior care continues to rise as the population ages, requiring more healthcare providers to meet patients' growing healthcare needs. Nurse practitioners are ready to address these challenges in 2024 and beyond, with nearly 90% of NPs clinically trained to deliver high-quality primary care. To fully utilize our NP workforce, Pennsylvania must grant NPs Full Practice Authority in 2024, which would increase patient access in primary care shortage areas, allow NPs to screen more patients for physical and mental health conditions, and shorten wait times for patients to access the care they need. #nursepractitioners #fullpracticeauthority #accesstocare #healthcareshortages #primarycare

Did you know? High nursing turnover directly impacts us all! In 2021 the national turnover rate for RN’s was 22.5%. This isn't just a staffing issue—it's a critical factor impacting healthcare quality. 1️⃣ Patient Care: High turnover leads to disruptions in care, affecting patient satisfaction and outcomes. 2️⃣ Financial Impact: Recruiting and training new nurses is costly, straining resources and productivity. 3️⃣ Staff Well-being: Turnover breeds burnout and decreases morale among remaining staff. 4️⃣ Community Impact: Underserved areas suffer most, facing exacerbated healthcare disparities. That’s why we’ve created something better. NursingFront is committed to helping organizations with nursing teams enhance patient care. We help take care of those who take care of us. Join us on the journey! 💪 #HealthcareQuality #NursingRetention #PatientCare
