I'm still trying to figure out why The American Institute of Architects (AIA) refuses to offer a virtual attendance option for their Annual Conference and Women's Leadership Summit *especially* with a brand new policy that goes into effect in 2024 that allocates funds back to the individual state/local chapters *specifically* based on how many of their members go to the conference and summit. If The AIA is trying to incentivize attendance, why not provide a virtual option so that it is accessible to more people across the country and globe? #diversity #equity #inclusion

According to Bloomberg's article "Women’s Boardroom Gains Keep Them Decade Away From Parity," women now occupy a record 33.5% of S&P 500 board seats. However, full parity is projected to be a decade away, with only 29 S&P 500 companies achieving a 50-50 gender ratio. Women are still significantly underrepresented in boardrooms, highlighting the need for continued progress and support. 🇸🇧 The representation of women in business leadership is on the rise in Solomon Islands. PSDI has just released an update to its 2021 report, Leadership Matters: Benchmarking Women in Business Leadership in the Pacific. Leadership Matters 2024 finds that despite the growing representation of women across all board positions, women remain underrepresented compared to men on boards in Solomon Islands.
