“L’hôtellerie a cette faculté de s’adapter aux tendances du marché” Glad to share my recent interview with Business Immo and Luc-Etienne Rouillard Lafond about the resilience and adaptability of the European hotel industry, particularly highlighting the performance and development strategies of the luxury brands of the Accor group. *Key Takeaways* *Adaptability*: The hospitality industry’s ability to quickly adapt to market trends and recover from crises in a major strength. *Customer Preferences*: There’s a clear trend towards more luxurious and experience-oriented travel, with customers willing to spend more on quality and unique experiences. *Strategic Focus*: Accor is capitalizing on these trends by expanding its luxury brands and focusing on high-potential leisure destinations. The main hotel groups in the world struggle to build value despite growing demand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts increases its value for the ninth consecutive year and remains first, together with the main Hilton brand, Hampton and DoubleTree by Hilton also increase their value. This is confirmed by data from Brand Finance, the world's leading brand valuation consultancy firm, #Hilton Hotel&Resort has a brand value of 11.6 billion dollars. But if the big ones are struggling, the Indian Taj Hotels and some Spanish brands are growing. In #Spain: Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Meliá Hotels International, NH Hotel Group and Barcelo Hotel Group: https://lnkd.in/dcFJXtit #Occidentalhotels #MeliáHotels #NHHotels #BarcelóHotels #TajHotels #HamptonbyHilton #DoubleTreebyHilton #hiltonHotels #hotels #travel #finance #brandvalue #brandfinance #wetravelbiz Wetravel.biz #wetravelhotels Wetravelhotels

A big thank you to Rolf Westermann, Editor-in-Chief at ahgz - Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung, for the insightful discussion with WorldHotels' President Ron Pohl and BWH Central Europe's CEO, Marcus Smola, at ITB Berlin last month! 🌟 Here are some key highlights from the interview: 🌿 Sustainability: "We take a different approach to ESG and call our program “EPC: Earth, People, Community" and we do not have a single global department that manages everything centrally. Instead, we try to focus strongly on regional requirements in order to have the greatest possible impact." 💼 Luxury Segment Growth: "Post-Covid, there has been a high demand in the luxury segment (…) Therefore, more brands are eager to participate in this sector. We see significant growth potential in Europe and Asia/Pacific with our WorldHotels collections..." 🤖 AI and Personalization: "AI will lead to increasingly personalized guest experiences (…) [and] enhance backend processes. AI and digitalization can help alleviate staffing shortages (…) but it cannot replace personal service, especially not in the upscale or luxury segment." 📈 Positive Outlook: "Overall, we anticipate a very positive year. We're experiencing strong growth in Europe and Asia, particularly in India – notably in the previously underrepresented Midscale segment, as well as Vietnam, Thailand, and Latin America.“ Read the full interview for more insights: https://lnkd.in/eA5k7u5P Gregory G. The luxury hotel segment in Italy had 610 hotels in 2021, by the end of 2024, 720 hotels (including 5-star and 5-star luxury) will be operational. In Italy, the world's fourth largest country in terms of tourist arrivals, India will be the one to revolutionize the market. “The nation with the most noticeable increase in net wages at this time, the largest population in the world, shows an unparalleled growth of interest in our country. It is the only foreign country for Italy that has more than doubled its volumes in the last 10 years, These are significant premises to a revolutionary scenario: today India is worth just 1.4 million presences for Italy, practically nothing (0.3 percent). The potential is immense.”

Slow and steady doesn't just win the race; it triples your revenue. Go Strong and Go Slow. I've been following this mantra with my venture, #LuxuryTribe, and it's been a game-changer. I recommend this approach to #LuxuryHotels and #LuxuryDMCs looking to build a presence in the Indian market. Consistency is key, and the Indian market could be your treasure trove for the next 20 years. Slow and steady doesn't just win the race; it triples your revenue. We tripled ours this year, and we're on track to do it again in 2025. It's not about speed; it's about delivering unparalleled value and caring deeply about people! The results will follow.
