At #ParamountGroup, it’s important to give back to the communities we serve. We partnered with the Urban Land Institute to assemble and deliver 1,000 care kits to The Bowery Mission’s shelters. We’re proud to support their work empowering New Yorkers experiencing homelessness.

Homelessness Week: Let's Make a Difference! This Homelessness Week, we are highlighting the challenges faced by families with children without stable housing. With a shortage of short-term accommodation and affordable rentals in our community, many families are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. What’s Happening? The lack of housing options is putting extra strain on emergency services and community resources. How is Anglicare NQ Helping? • Advocacy: Advocating for more funding and policy changes. • Innovation: Innovating services, how we respond to crisis in the community, and exploring alternative housing solutions. • Services: Supporting clients in finding and accessing housing resources. Together, we can work towards a future where everyone has a safe place to call home. #HomelessnessWeek #Homesforkids #HousingForAll #CommunitySupport

In 2017, a group of CCH's grassroots leaders with lived experience of homelessness developed the idea of what became #BringChicagoHome. Since that first day, we have collectively fought for the revenue we need to provide the permanent housing and services the people experiencing homelessness in Chicago need. We spent years building a broad coalition made up of people with lived experience of homelessness, union members, faith leaders, social service providers, community organizations, and grassroots volunteers. The opposition tried to intimidate, misinform, and outspend us, but we always had the will and the power of the people on our side. Last night’s election results did not end the fight. Instead, they amplify our commitment to finding solutions for housing insecurity and addressing homelessness. And so, while we await the final counting of the 100,000 mail-in ballots, we continue to stay focused on what matters most: the building of a long-term movement for housing justice, with, for, and by the 68,000 Chicagoans experiencing homelessness in one of the richest cities in the world. We invite all who share this vision to join us for the next chapter. The fight for housing justice continues, because housing is a human right. #EndHomelessness #HousingIsAHumanRight #Chicago #advocacy

In Charlotte, we're witnessing a critical challenge that touches the heart of our community — the rising tide of homelessness. This year, we're turning our focus toward understanding and addressing the complexities of housing instability in our city. Insights from the 2023 State of Housing Instability & Homelessness report by Mecklenburg County Community Support Services have been eye-opening: ⬆️ The count of individuals facing homelessness in our community is on the rise. ⬆️ An increase in the number of people experiencing homelessness without shelter. ⬆️ People are spending more time in emergency shelters than before. The availability of affordable rental options is dwindling. ⬆️ An increasing number of low- and moderate-income families are finding it hard to secure and maintain housing. ⬆️ The rate of evictions is climbing. Charlotte, we're curious to hear your thoughts. Were you aware of these issues? Do these findings surprise you? More importantly, how can we come together as a community to support those in need and find sustainable solutions to these challenges? Let's start the conversation and more importantly, let's start taking action. If you're ready to make a difference or want to learn more about our involvement and what you can do, let's talk. Together, we can make a change. #charlottecommunity #housinginstability #homelessnessawareness #takeaction #strataimpact

In our efforts to address homelessness, it's crucial to understand who is affected. Individuals sleeping rough are found not just on streets but also in places like stairwells, cars, or makeshift shelters. Recognizing the breadth of this issue is the first step in creating effective solutions. More on how they're defined: https://shorturl.at/jFPR5 #BeTheLink

End homelessness in America. We believe ending homelessness in America begins with a sandwich. Our goal, beyond simply providing a PB&J sandwich to those in need, is to acknowledge and recognize the often overlooked homeless individuals and families in our community. When you see those experiencing homeless, one of the questions you may ask yourself is, “What more can I do?” We pray that what begins with a PB&J sandwich grows into much more for those who serve. In small ways, each of us can address homelessness in America. And together, we can end it. Our approach covers three initiatives to fulfill our vision: Educate Advocate Allocate Education represents increasing public awareness. Advocate is increasing support to not only host a PB&J Day, but to seek policy change and expanded community support to develop solutions. Allocate is the giving of our time, talent, and treasure (physical or monetary resources) to support PB&J Days and beyond. To learn more about how you can start a PB&J Day in your area or support us directly in San Antonio, please go to our website, pbandjdays.com. #food #SpreadKindness #pbandjdays #MakeADifference #help #service #homeless #endhomelessness
