Part of our team at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC) is #collaborating on another #project on how to use #literature to tackle #inequalities from an intersectional perspective within primary education classrooms. Beyond the Classroom (In celebration of World Teacher’s Day) Teaching is undoubtedly one of the most noble and rewarding professions. Educators play a vital role in shaping the future of their students, imparting knowledge, and nurturing young minds. However, behind the inspiring lessons and classroom smiles, teachers face a myriad of challenges that often go unnoticed. Some of which are heavy Workload, Classroom Management, Limited Resources, Standardized testing, Student diversity, Emotional Labor, Parental Involvement, Professional Development and Burnouts. Despite these challenges, teachers continue to dedicate themselves to their students and their profession. Their commitment and passion for education are the driving forces that help them overcome these obstacles. A couple of years ago when we were charting our WorldClass ambition we wanted to use Education and Workforce development as a tool to empower those historically excluded by society.
