SBA disaster assistance is now available for small businesses affected by recent storms. SBA customer service representatives will be on hand at the following centers to answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process, and help each individual complete their electronic loan application. The centers will be open on the days and times indicated. No appointment is necessary. The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce you to our newest team member, Johnnie Hubbard! Johnnie Hubbard serves as the Officer Manager for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. A highly organized, detailed-oriented professional, Johnnie is a problem solver with a customer service mindset. Johnnie is a seventh-generation Texan who grew-up in Pasadena and graduated from Pasadena High School. She started her professional career in the Logistics industry, during which time she received her International Customs Broker license and held executive positions with Logistics firms in Houston, Los Angeles and Tulsa. Later, she taught English while living in Sweden, and then returned to Houston where she has worked in various administrative positions and obtained several professional certifications. Immediately prior to joining the Chamber, Johnnie was the Director of Development at Interfaith Caring Ministries in League City. While also raising three daughters, Johnnie has been an active volunteer with local schools, civic organizations, and her community association in Southeast Harris County and Northern Galveston County, where she held leadership roles, including serving on a board of trustees and organizing many significant fundraising events. We have a dynamic panel who will go over free resources to help your business grow, and even more companies around the room who are there to tell you how to secure contracts with them. We are looking at about 100 business owners in attendance as well that you will have the chance to network with and expand your connections even further. McDonalds will be providing a complimentary breakfast as well. Sara is graduating from the University of Houston Clear Lake and has already secured a position with our Pasadena Chamber DIAMOND LEVEL member, Haygor Instrument & Co, Inc. as a Marketing Coordinator! One of the many benefits of interning with the Chamber is the exposure you get to all the member companies. Sara has a wonderful personality and is a super hard worker and took advantage of every opportunity she could to network with our member companies, and today it paid off!!
