Most homelessness is hidden. 🤯 We see only 6% of homelessness, which makes up our friends living on the street. 94% of people experiencing homelessness are hidden, falling under secondary and tertiary homelessness. 🛏️🚘 It's incredibly important to understand these terms to gain a deeper understanding of the state of homelessness in Australia. The number of people enduring unsheltered homelessness rose across the U.S. last year. African American communities in the District are the most cost burdened by rent. Homelessness among families increased by 39%, but remains down, by 30% from 2020.
